Mike Bowling, husband of Crabb Family member Kelly Bowling, will be the evening's special guest entertainer. ![]() The group is backed by a six-piece live band. The Crabb Family performers include Jason Crabb, the oldest Crabb son who is lead singer Kelly Bowling, the middle Crabb daughter who sings Adam Crabb, the family harmonica player and singer and Aaron Crabb, Adam's twin brother who plays rhythm guitar and sings. ![]() Gerald and Kathy, who remain active behind the scenes, have turned most of the "on-stage" ministry of the Crabb Family over to their children. Today, the family group is one of the biggest acts in Southern Gospel Music. The group was founded by Gerald Crabb and his wife, Kathy. The group also received two honors at 2003 Dove Awards one for Southern Gospel Recorded Song of the Year, "Don't You Wanna Go?" and the other for Southern Gospel Album of the Year, "A Crabb Collection." 1 spot on Soundscan's Southern Gospel Chart. The group is nominated for the song "The Walk," which was released in April. The 46th Annual Grammy Awards will be broadcast Feb. Included Tracks: Vocal Demonstration, High Key w/o BGVs, Medium Key w/o BGVs, Low Key w/o BGVs. The Crabb Family is nominated for a Grammy in the category of Best Southern, Country or Bluegrass Gospel Album. ![]() Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the door or at Meridian's downtown Bible Bookstore. The Grammy-nominated Crabb Family will make a stop in Meridian for a one-day-only concert at Meridian High School's auditorium. ![]()
